Health Which? Asked the manufactures of eight anti snoring products for evidence to support their claims of easing the bedtime affliction.

The principal researcher Emma Copeland, said “Many products simply did not live up to their claims.”

Health Which? Asked the manufacturers to send research supporting their claims. These were assessed by a panel of experts including a professor of lung medicine, a senior lecturer in restorative dentistry , a herbalist, a homeopath and a pharmacologist.

The panel awarded each product a ’research rating’ percentage based on the quality of evidence used to up the makers claims.

The eight remedies tested with their research ratings were:-

• BREATHE RIGHT strips Research rating:30%
