Like so many others, I have snored for years and I can’t believe my wife has put up with it. In fact, the snoring has been sooo bad that I have woken myself up with it, thinking, “What the hell is that noise”? I have tried the strips and just about every spray available.

I wasn’t aware of SnorBan and similar devices until recently, when I heard the two interviews that Joe did with Southern Counties Radio. As always, I was a little dubious about investing £45 in case it was not going to be successful. However, your guarantee was reassuring and I did my own ‘pre test’ by laying on my back and attempting to snore whilst awake. I found this was easy with my jaw in the usual place but impossible with my lower jaw brought forward. As I managed this without SnorBan I felt it would work for me.

Yeeeesssss. It does. I have gone through most of the ‘downsides’, with buckets of saliva all over the place, sore lower teeth when first waking, a bit of general discomfort etc but,

I did wonder if I was going to have to send mine back, for a replacement, as I didn’t get it right the first time of fitting with my lower jaw too far back. However, It was much improved on the second attempt. It is a little loose but I think it will be okay.

To be totally ‘snore free’ I do need to sleep on my back. If I sleep on my side or front the airway does get restricted and the snoring returns, although not as loud.

Is there an average time for me to reorder. Does the plastic degrade?
