I am a SnorBan user. It's stopped me snoring. I think that given the dramatic effect on the health and well-being of both the snorer (ex) and their partner, it should available on the NHS.
I would like to pass on a little tip. I suffer from a stuffy nose from time to time so I was uncomfortable using my SnorBan when this occurred.
But I have found the perfect solution. Put your SnorBan in the freezer for 24 hours. Then remove it, and using a sharp 5 mm diameter drill bit, drill a hole or two along the centre line at the front. The holes drill quite cleanly but you can tidy them up with a sharp blade if necessary. You then have easy breathing if your nose becomes blocked. It works perfectly.
With a new SnorBan every two years I look forward to a totally snore-free life, as does my wife.

Like so many others, I have snored for years and I can't believe my wife has put up with it. In fact, the snoring has been sooo bad that I have woken myself up with it, thinking, "What the hell is that noise"? I have tried the strips and just about every spray available.
I wasn't aware of SnorBan and similar devices until recently, when I heard the two interviews that Joe did with Southern Counties Radio. As always, I was a little dubious about investing £45 in case it was not going to be successful. However, your guarantee was reassuring and I did my own 'pre test' by laying on my back and attempting to snore whilst awake. I found this was easy with my jaw in the usual place but impossible with my lower jaw brought forward. As I managed this without SnorBan I felt it would work for me.
Yeeeesssss. It does. I have gone through most of the 'downsides', with buckets of saliva all over the place, sore lower teeth when first waking, a bit of general discomfort etc but,

We can't thank you enough. I am sold on the idea, which means that I will be doing all I can to promote Snorban whenever I get the chance.
I did wonder if I was going to have to send mine back, for a replacement, as I didn't get it right the first time of fitting with my lower jaw too far back. However, It was much improved on the second attempt. It is a little loose but I think it will be okay.
To be totally 'snore free' I do need to sleep on my back. If I sleep on my side or front the airway does get restricted and the snoring returns, although not as loud.
Is there an average time for me to reorder. Does the plastic degrade?

Because of the headaches, I stopped using SnorBan but the snoring started again immediately (report by husband!). Then I thought I would perservere but decided to move rooms and be on my own during the night.
I have now spent three weeks using Snorban while sleeping alone and except for light discomfort of teeth, gums first thing in the morning I have stopped snoring and feel very well rested
I am now back sleeping in the same room as my husband who says I am not snoring at all - which is wonderful news. A secondary advantage is that my neck and shoulders feel much more relaxed which, I am sure, is due in part to a deeper, more healthy sleep.
Thank you so much. It's not just the lack of snoring but the luxury of feeling in better health generally. And of course my husband is delighted.
